Copyright & License
Copyright Policy
Copyright protects the original expression of scholarly work, including the way ideas, analyses, methods, and findings are presented in a manuscript. The ICBAE Conference is committed to protecting the rights, reputation, and academic contributions of its authors and takes issues such as copyright infringement, plagiarism, ethical misconduct, and fraud seriously.
For papers accepted for publication through the ICBAE Conference, copyright and licensing arrangements will follow the publication policy determined by the official proceedings outlet. Authors retain responsibility for ensuring that their submitted work is original, does not infringe the rights of others, and includes all necessary permissions for any copyrighted material reproduced in the manuscript, including tables, figures, illustrations, or extended quotations.
License to Publish
By submitting a manuscript to the ICBAE Conference and accepting publication after editorial decision, the author(s) grant the conference and its designated publication partners the right to publish, reproduce, distribute, and make the manuscript available in the appropriate proceedings or related publication platforms, in print, electronic, and other media formats, subject to the applicable publication agreement of the selected proceedings outlet. This includes the right to publish the article in conference proceedings, indexing platforms, digital libraries, and related academic dissemination channels.
The specific copyright and license terms may differ depending on the final publication placement of the accepted manuscript, including whether the paper is selected for Springer Proceedings in Business and Economics or Atlantis Proceedings. Authors may therefore be required to complete an additional copyright or license agreement in accordance with the publisherβs requirements.
Author Warranties
By submitting a manuscript to ICBAE, the author(s) confirm and warrant that:
- the manuscript is original and has been prepared by the stated author(s);
- the work has not been published previously in substantially the same form, unless clearly disclosed and permitted;
- the manuscript does not contain any unlawful, defamatory, or fraudulent content;
- the manuscript does not infringe any copyright, proprietary right, or other legal right of any third party; and
- all necessary written permissions have been obtained for any material reproduced from other sources.
Where a manuscript is co-authored, the corresponding author is deemed to have obtained the consent of all co-authors for submission, review, and publication, and is responsible for informing them of all relevant publication terms and conditions.
Rights of Authors
Unless otherwise required by the designated proceedings publisher, authors retain the moral rights to their work and the right to be properly acknowledged as the creators of the manuscript. Subject to the terms of the applicable publisher agreement, authors may also retain certain rights to reuse parts of their work in future research, teaching materials, presentations, dissertations, or other scholarly outputs, provided that proper acknowledgment of the original conference publication is given.
Authors may also be permitted to deposit or share their published work in institutional repositories, personal websites, or academic platforms, depending on the copyright and self-archiving policies of the final proceedings publisher.
Use by Readers and Third Parties
The rights of users to copy, share, reuse, or adapt published conference papers will depend on the licensing terms established by the final publication outlet. Where a Creative Commons or similar license applies, users must comply with the terms of that license, including proper attribution, acknowledgment of the original publication source, and any applicable restrictions on commercial use or modification.
No Royalty Provision
Authors are generally not entitled to royalties or other financial compensation arising from publication, indexing, distribution, or academic dissemination of the accepted manuscript through the conference proceedings or associated publication platforms, unless otherwise specified in the applicable publisher agreement.
Editorial and Publication Rights
The ICBAE Conference and its publication partners reserve the right to undertake editorial revisions relating to formatting, style, grammar, punctuation, spelling, and presentation, provided that such revisions do not materially alter the scholarly content of the manuscript. Publication remains subject to the successful completion of the editorial, peer review, revision, and production processes.
Final Provision
The ICBAE Conference reserves the right to determine the appropriate copyright and licensing procedure in accordance with the selected proceedings publisher and conference publication policy. Authors are expected to comply with all copyright, licensing, and permissions requirements as part of the publication process.
